You are right, I cop flak from even blokes who should know better, they would not consider themselves prudes, but they are certainly not as free or open, or even widely experienced, about sex. They have that sneery look when talking about my books. They associate erotic romance with porn and would not know half of the physiology of sexual enjoyment. These guys sowed their oats as youths, got married & slipped into boredom, & dry up as they get older. I couldn't believe the reaction I got in a pub conversation just discussing a lady squirting, all sniggering as if talking about a dirty movie. They just haven't studied or even bothered to discover the wonders of it all.

I do write the erotic stuff under a pen name and on here, but I still let almost everyone know it's me. I just liked to apply the Byron name to the more risque' scribbling.

Lord Byron was a wild character suspected of having sex with his sister and certainly went with boys on his travels so I just felt it fitted. So I write my more commercial novels as Brian George, my real first 2 names, & the rest as Byron George.
