What you should have done is buy her a drink, for she gets commission on all lady drinks. Even pay her bar fine to take her out from the bar, then give her what she would have got for spending short time with her, probably next to nothing in your money. Then walk away, that at least gives her a break.

I've done that on occasions, but you'd be surprised how offended some get, as if in rejection. Then you learn more about how their minds work.

Many seek a western benefactor or husband even. It is a complicated world, but you don't learn the lessons unless you dare. Now you are still wondering, a sort of unrequited love feeling.

I've paid the bar fines, taken them to dinner and they've showed me around like a cheap tour guide and they still get disappointed if you don't want to sleep with them. You try to be a nice guy, but they'll tell you they need sex like anybody else and they haven't had a guy for a while. One night of pleasure will maybe give them as good a memory as you.

Or you become great friends with them and despite them knowingly working those bars, they'll still spend time with you when you come to town, for free or a great night out partying. Then they'll bring a couple of friends along because you like a party and they all want to have sex with you.

You can't change the world and I swear I've been exploited more than most.
