Well that just generalised all men. I'm not saying that they are right or wrong, they seem quite moderate desires, but not everybody or every man will want those.

Those that educate themselves by reading and writing will quite possibly sympathise with those traits, but the neanderthal, non-readers, and dare I say the word? Gammon amongst us will just carry on and see that as a 'snowflake' point of view.

I was married for over 20 years and always made it clear where I wanted to be when I made enough to retire. I was open and discussed it regularly and got agreement every time. When it came to put it in operation, it was like "you didn't really think I'd move did you?" Burnt all my dreams in one statement. So that is where being open and listening got me. Ruined our relationship, trust, marriage in less than 10 words.

People change and you have to make allowances for that also. What if your partner was bored with all of those points and decided that wasn't what they wanted after all?
