Until we get a Proportional Representational system in the UK you're stuck with what you have. The Tory/UKIP right wins because whatever version of Labour and the LIberals split the vote and create safe seats.

My vote hasn't counted for years in this safe Tory seat I live but, if Lab/Libs were added together we would stand a chance. For the moment we are stuck with tactical voing. The Tories know their time is almost done, that is why they brought in Voter ID, taking the lead from the GOP in the US at voter restrictions against the young and mostly the students who in substantial numbers voted for Corbyn at the last 2 elections.
