I put it down to being less well endowed in the penis length that made me search for how to be better at sex than those much bigger than me. I studied manuals, ancient arts, I read columns by women experts and tantric specialists on how to please a woman and what they enjoyed. My endless research in many countries eventually became books in their own right. The erotic novel “Tales From the BanNana Bar” about Thailand and “Desert Loves 1 & 2” set in Dubai by Byron George are full-on descriptions of the life I lived in my addiction to living up to the old adage, “It’s not what you’ve got, it’s how you use it.”

What became the norm however was the fact that whoever became my latest girlfriend or lover would insist, usually after our first session, of bringing a friend to join us. In some situations, it was even 2 friends. Often the first lover would nudge the other as if to say “I told you so.” It came to the point where I even started to question myself, and my normality. When I wrote my straight adventures of The Dream Team as Brian George, I included the main characters as being 3 lovers, no jealousy just an acceptable polyamorous relationship, or so I thought until a reviewer stated that in parts it could read as a male fantasy. That was definitely not my intention for I wrote them as what I saw as a fairly normal occurrence, not conventional but also not unusual. That review shook me because I just assumed that it wasn’t ‘that’ out of the ordinary because it was my reality. Ever since my early 20’s these situations happened and got more regular, the older and more experienced I got.

I have tried to restrict it as I am getting older, but on my last visit to Dubai, my old friend and muse for Annie the Chinese lover in the books wanted to bring her friend back after dinner at a plush restaurant. I told her “I’m getting old now, I need to take it easy.” However, in the morning she made a point of nuzzling up to me and kissing me and said in such a soft tender way, “Darling you not old, don’t think too much!” She was stroking my back and shaking her head as if to say “wow, last night, phew!” It is very flattering in some way, but I still think that maybe I’m a freak, but at least I know its not about the size any more.
