The Oz Bar was the best illegal bar/compound in Al Khobar. ANZAC day it was open all w/e as a party with live rock band. Quite an amazing feat really. My pal was an Aussie and although we were from out of the area we used to get smuggled in by climbing over the wall. We'd pay a company driver extra to wait outside for us and he'd sleep in the cab.
