The Rude Awakening

Byron George

--

I wake aroused
I spoon onto you
A nudge, a push
One arm across
A hand on your breast
Light fingers circle
Your leg lifts enough
You let him in.
Still sleepy both
We move slow
But now you’re wet
And the head slips in
Back and forth
In rhythm
Still smooth he slides,
Further, faster, still gentle.

As your leg lifts
And the fingertips
Move down still light
But circling the pearl
In the oyster shell
Faster more now
You moan lowly
As further into
The grail so holy
We slither awakened
You roll on your belly
And raise your rear
to invite, entice.

The pace climbs
Opening wider the cave
The shell opens into
those soft petals so rosy.
