That is so very true. The other problem is of course is that the Labour Party are running scared of rejoining or another referendum because of the loss of their traditional red wall seats who voted out in the referendum last time.

Those, mainly in the North & North East were ardent nationalists and quoted the sovereignty & immigration issues more than the more cosmopolitan Londoners and Cities. There are still many Home Counties full of Shire Tories also who were anti-EU.
