That is so right. When I'm writing my novels, they have to be done early, minimum of 500 words, more when on a roll. Once that is done, the brain needs more nourishment. I'll read a little, even nod off for a short nap, or do a meditation. Then wrack my brains for something else to write as an article or any gigs I pick up.

Sometimes I'll do some sketching, other days I put pics or excerpts of my writing on social media. It is all to break up the monotony of the story chore, but still be productive.
