Thanks, As always Louisa,

You are correct, I have no intention of going back to that dump, ha ha, but circumstances often drive us to places we have no intention of heading! Hence I have recently been negotiating for a post in Nigeria. Last year I was in the running to manage a project in Mozambique, but my age disqualified me for the extraction insurance company. Weeks after that, Al Shabaab got in and killed a British Manager and shot up all the local villages.

My spiritual protector was obviously working in my favour there? You & I are aware of how that works. I have through all my dangers & adventures been aware that I am being saved for something of benefit to us all. I believe that through my writing somehow it will happen, I'm just waiting for the guidance.

In all my stories the underlying theme is always freedom. It amazes me how so many people vote away their hard won rights in the belief that some authoritarian dictator will benefit them or the country.

For a writer, freedom of thought is very important, so long as we are sympathetic to society, not trying to run it. We are not infallible as certain books have proven harmful, witness "Das Kapital," "Mein Kampf" and Mao's "Little Red Book." Quite possibly also "The Art of the Deal!" lol

I'm very happy that you also see the humour in my stories.

With love,

Brian/Byron
