I know how bad it must be for you, but imagine also how bad it is for me.

Guys, old friends who I went to school with, people that I've known since the age of 5 years have cut me adrift on our group social media chats and refused to turn up at our re-unions if I am there, purely on the basis of me arguing against their Torygraph/Mail/Express polemic and email circulars.

They really buy all this "anti-woke" rhetoric.

The problem is that it is hard to point out how wrong (stupid) they are without sounding condescending, which is what I've been accused of along with other names like 'sanctimonious' and 'traitor.'

Which is probably where we went wrong in the referendum campaigns, but how else to explain their opinions?
