Rosa Parks story is globally recognised. In a recent business trip to Paris, France we went via the metro and passed through the Rosa Parks station, named after her and her Civil Rights battle.
My boss at the time, a USA educated of Indian heritage guy, asked me if I knew who Rosa Parks was and I immediately answered "she was the lady on the bus." I am 73 and he is in his fifties, and there was a colleague with us, a lady of Middle Eastern origin, who we then related the story to, thereby Rosa's story lives on, even in Europe and the UK she is considered a heroine akin to the suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst.
However these touchy republican white supremacists interpret it, history will record the truth and shame them for even thinking to downgrade her valour.
