My thoughts are sad for those early encounters, sad for the unrealised desire for the passions expressed in the books. As a young guy I also fell for the seductions of Fanny Hill, Mickey Spillane, James Bond's romantic interludes. Why can he get away with it all the time? I thought about those books offering different moral choices from the ones we were being taught.

As a youth getting off on the cartoon adventures of "Jane" or "Daughter of Jane" in the Daily Mirror of those early fifties. My falling in & out of love regularly, learning through the fumblings of youth, inexperience that would possibly have contributed to a young girl's feelings akin to what you felt.

It wasn't until I discovered a world outside of the moral restrictions and viewpoints of the UK, despite our attempts to change it in the sixties, that my viewpoint changed completely. Working and living in S.E.Asia and then Africa changed me completely. The understanding that women wanted enjoyment, but they also wanted a western guy's version of love plied upon them.

I then embarked on an endless cruise through life trying to make up for lost time, ensuring that my ladies 'came' first and enjoyed so much that it often backfired on me and I could not get away. Then I learnt that women talk always and those that wanted more would bring a friend or two to prove a point. Oh what a web we weave, how cruel life is, that now I'm stuck back in the west, getting older, but still with those eastern desires, missing the life like an addict in withdrawal.

Isn't life complicated?

I apologise to all women for those early years. I also had to learn, not only the techniques, but the emotions. I hope I helped those that came later.
