My Response to My Old Friends Who Have Bought Into The New Conservatism

I protested that it was all rubbish from Tory-supporting newspapers and was saddened to be hit by a barrage of abuse, and the usual ‘fuck off elsewhere if you don’t like this country” nonsense. As if even joining a political party in opposition is now a crime.
