McCartney has always been a pussy. Here in the UK from my youth you were always either a Stones person or a Beatles person. We might have liked them both but there was always a bit of a battle.

Lennon was the real Artist, McCartney was more commercially minded and that is why they broke up. His voice has gone now anyhow. The Stones epitomised Rock& Roll, yes they idolised and followed the Blues men, but in now way could you say that Sticky Fingers, or Exile on Main Street were covers.

The Beatles also covered in the early days, Revolver and Sergeant Pepper were their creative highlights but mainly from the Acid scene back then.
