Maybe, but I try to be more independent. The current bunch of Tories, especially the arch Brexiteers were all part of the group involved with Bannon, Mercer, Trump, Farage, Banks et al, whose aims were very hard right, possibly funded by Putin. The way they booted out the more moderates in their own party had all the nastiness of a putsch.

It was The Guardian and Carole Cadwallader that exposed their data manipulation with Cambridge Analytica and that I did follow.

My own politics are more Blairite, pro-European and internationalist, and pro-business. My many years of working and living overseas, often in difficult countries have given me a more federalist outlook. I would class myself as centre left, maybe with an element of anarchist, anti-establishment, confused maybe but at least they are my own views gleaned from experience.
