is completely understandable, when after Finland repelled Russia as an invader in the 1930's it has always kept a great army in readiness, but after Russia invaded Crimea and then the full invasion of Ukraine, what did Russia expect Finland to do. It has joined the major defensive alliance open to it. Once Putin played his land grabbing hand he left them & Sweden no option.

The so-called legitimate Yanukovych government was kicked out in a people's rebellion because the youth wanted to become more westernised, and live with the personal freedoms like most Europeans. Whether assisted by the west or not, that was plain enough to see. Exactly like the Belarusians under their dictator.

There is only one aggressor here, only one who wants to take another's land and only one who invaded the other.

Your article is quite simply bollocks. If the west did nothing and appeasing him over Crimea and did nothing, he should have been happy then, not want to create another dictatorship on his doorstep, under his control.
