I'm anti-monarchy, especially the paying for them and all their estates. I have always refused to watch any other royal stuff on tv or in writing but when the Daily Heil & usual bedfellows started all their vile vitriol against them I thought that these 2 can't be all bad.
So I watched the Netflix and totally sympathise with her, and even him. Yes, he's from a privileged background, but he has pulled away from that and supported his wife, and that is admirable.
I understand that they have to milk their celebrity and whatever to keep them in the style to which they aspire and who can blame them for that.
They were lucky with their friend that gave them his property to stay and I understood his reasoning. When people suddenly get monetary success or notoriety whatever, families are often their worst enemies. Especially an institution like that where it is old fashioned, with stupid rules like curtseying to your grandmother in law.
The person I also admired was her mother. A strong supportive proper mother figure to both of them.
