I so agree with that. It is the same here in the UK. The hard right press owners, all of whom live abroad as tax exiles, influence our electorate to such an insane degree. Murdoch being a main antagonist. They have deviated from 'free speech' & 'freedom of the press' to out & out lying, making up stories and creating false narratives about imagined enemies on the left.
