I love your story. I am a white guy married a long time to a white lady but in my past had a Nigerian GF while working in the Middle East and was always quite proud to be with her when, sad to say, usually Americans and their kids, would stare at us constantly as if we were weird. I always put it down to ignorance as they were mostly from the southern states.

Love is love and I applaud anyone who are happy no matter race, gender, or any other issue.
