I get the same here in the UK. Trump has emboldened the same types who used Brexit to attack all immigrants and have brought in a racist/neo fascist government of the right. When I point out the corruption their supporters say "but they are all corrupt." It's a cop-out to justify the way they really feel, because they are quietly supporting those ignoramus's.

When I point out that only 1200 illegal immigrants came across from France last year and maybe we should respect their efforts, the desperation that's driven them. I am told it is like opening my doors and letting a burglar in. 1200 in a population of 70million ffs. The rhetoric of Trump has emboldened nationalists and xenophobes across the world. Please, please get rid of him, and when/if he loses the vote, shut him up for good somehow.

We still have our lot for another 4 years and the consequences of Brexit dividing us from the people we fought for in Europe 70 years ago. I despair at ever getting rid of them, I am stuck in little England, a world out of touch with any of its surrounding nations, even in the same Union. We are run by a right wing club of ultras from one elite school, total bell-ends.

Getting rid of Trump is a start and will give us all a boost. Bless you USA.
