I believe that as a white British I can apply the same reasoning to the class system. Except for that we have to go back even further in our history to when we were all serfs under a so-called benevolent landowner.

It is the British way to take advantage of those considered beneath you. It is why workers unions are put down as a bad thing, not as a benefit to a company as in countries like Germany, where they get a seat on the board.
