I agree with almost 97% of what you have written there Ade, but as I have stated elsewhere, I knew that the public in general were suspicious of him because of his attitude to Defence.

He was too keen to stand alongside IRA killers for one reason. No matter what way, military or ex-military almost as one saw his willingness to go to an IRA funeral as traitorous.

He was seen as an extreme Marxist, who would not have defended us if war broke. How fair that was as a relevant argument I don't know, especially as we have just had to suffer the worst government in living memory since that election. I am not sure that Jeremy would have been such a supporter of Ukraine against Russia even now.
