I Abused A Russian Troll & Got A Yellow Card From Medium!

I admit it I let my emotions get the better of me in my response to a Russian apologist for Putin on Medium. The guy was espousing his strong leader and calling out Ukrainian fighters who had been fighting Russian separatists in the Dombas region, part of southern Ukraine.
I made the mistake of thinking I could argue with reason about the political situation but when the guy was telling me that it was the Ukrainians committing atrocities in fighting back and that Putin’s election was fair I had to respond and tell him to F… Off from their country and that what he was saying was a load B……ks.
I got one of those warning emails from Medium’s Trust & Safety department telling me my post has been suspended. I had already blocked my tormentor, but I was the one that got the warning. I should have known better than to respond to someone with only 1 follower on here whose name was the shortened version of Putin’s first name.😜
I must admit to some emotional attachment to the Ukrainians because my son’s partner is from there, and all of her immediate family are still there and have sent some really scary videos of their town being bombarded by rockets about 1 hour from the capital city Kyiv. Luckily his partner…
