I think I could still sleep on the beach even now. I've slept on teak floors above the cattle in a Thai Farmhouse, on a car park tarmac at St. Malo waiting for the ferry outside the car while my wife and daughter took over the car seats. All in fairly recent times, and the mattresses in China were the hardest I've ever known, lol.
