From here in the UK, where we are living through a huge upheaval caused by the populist nationalism of the Brexit supporters in our crazy government of liars, the fact that I can read about our special relationship friends in the USA being crazier than even we already thought is strangely comforting!!

All of this atmosphere you can relate back to the hatred stirred up by the likes of Bannon, the Mercers, Trump, Farage, Banks and their sympathisers like Murdoch. Many of whom are receiving funding through Putin's Russia and are admirers of his style.

It is akin to a Clint Eastwood movie that they see this young idiot heading into town to right wrongs in that old fashioned gunslinger way. They've created an image of bad guys out of Liberal leaning people, it is an insane world at the moment.

As a writer whose heroes do break laws to avenge cruelty, but against villains like people traffickers, I do wonder at how the right can take on people like this kid as a hero, only because he kills lefties.
