Drag Queens have always been around, even in the 60's I remember going to pubs in the Dockland's areas of London where they were a common sight.

Danny La Rue was a big star on tv and theatre back then. Their humour was always near the knuckle.

Even twenty years ago we had clubs in London like Madam Jo-Jos where the waitresses were all gorgeous trans boys. The cabaret was always risque' and in later years we've had big drag mainstream tv stars like Lily Savage.

Those protesting are just ignorant bigots, who hate equality and gays. trans are just the targets of those who don't know which section of society to hate next, now racism is forbidden.
