Correct. I only use profanities in words when it is in context, never to abuse or respond to someone who does. The problem is that if you point it out to them you can come across as haughty. Now, if someone uses that sort of abuse on social media to me, I just block them right off.

Some people cannot debate, they feel that they have to shout louder than you to win the argument. Usually bullies, Trumpists, Tories and Brexiteers, resort to these tactics. It is probably why half the population see things the way they do, they believe that sort of strident argument is for winners!
