Climate Anarchy Please

Byron George

--

This climate is rare
The ground is hard from the frost
The trees are bare,
Oh, how I hate this time of year
I always feel lost
No sun just greyness
No warmth only fear
For the coming rains
The deluge and ravages
Of environmental damages

No Need for governments,
No way, no how
All they do is milk the same cow

How much longer must we wait
For those powers, those ponces,
To see the real picture, legislate
We now need those responses
Grasp the urgency of the changes
Or forever be slaughtered
To fight, be with nature,
Or be underwater.

While those powerful
Holding the folding
Dither and play
Taking our pay

No need for governments
They keep on with coal,
With gas, and oil derivatives
While all around us is fuel
In nature’s commodities
Water, wind, solar
We have in abundance
The technologies to harness…
