Alexei,

I consider myself in the same way. I'm from the UK where a dangerous nationalism has overtaken us in the Brexit referendum and we now have the worst government in living memory.

I think hat maybe what is happening in Ukraine and Russia is a turning point in history. The fact that most people can see what is happening for real now will gradually change people's perceptions, especially as the youth now seem to be more aware of the actuality.

I foresaw a long time ago that Russia will change and maybe even join the European family if not in the EU but as a responsible democratic nation. The UK will rejoin if not in reality soon but in spirit gradually.

There is too many good things culturally on all sides and the technological/digital revolution that we are all living through will by necessity make us all citizens of the world.

It is the only natural answer.
