A Walk On The Downs
As unchecked as a rutting deer,
As natural as a tupping ram,
I walk as if in a dream
The spring sunshine warms my body
I don’t know how far abeam
I’ll float along in thought
Testosterone flows to the boner
With you here to stride
Alongside,
I check out the hedging,
And flora and fauna,
While all the time I’m wrought,
Daydreaming of the future.
