A lovely article Sam. I have been to the Philippines a number of times. At first it was for business but after a few of those I returned under my own steam. I had worked away in many countries but Thailand and The Philippines are my favourites and there is so much more to explore in all those islands.

I have also visited Tagaytay a few times for Yoga retreats, we stayed at a couple of health farms up there and it was beautiful.

I had a Filipina gf for a while but had to part due to other personal issues, like a wife back in the UK,lol!

They are lovely people, and I have travelled to other parts also and loved it all.

I would love to get a Residence Visa there for a while especially since Brexit in the UK has made me disgusted with my own country and half of the people.

How difficult was the SRRV to get? I am seriously contemplating moving there, but I only have my UK pension to sustain me at present.
